Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhee Karega

Yesterday I watched the Hindi movie "Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhee Karega". It was fun. Sonali Bendre is the daughter of a rich business man Chopra and is interested in painting, music, dance , judo and what not. She conducts an exhibition of her paintings, and there Saif Ali Khan, a jobless guy meets her. He praises her junk paintings and kisses the hand "that made these great paintings".... Eventually they fall in love and Sonali informs her father. Father: "kya kartha hai woh?" Sonali: "pyar kartha hai mujhse". Father: "kam kuch hai yah...??" Sonali: "doondh raha hai... aap hai na?". So they get married and Saif is employed in Chopras office. He is ill-treated and when he went to ask Chopra what will be his duty, he is asked to repair the flush in the toilet.

Aftab and Fardeen are also job hunters and are badly in need of money. They decide to adopt galat rasta and try to rob Saif, thinking that he may be rich, but get only fifty rupees. Saif makes a plan to extract money from his father in law, asks the two to kidnap his wife and ask for 1 crore as ransom from her father, which they can share in between. Thus goes the story..In between there is the gundah Azlam Bhai (Jonhy Lever) who is an aspiring actor-producer and wants to pair up with Aishwarya Rai. Johny lever shines with his inimitable facial expressions. Sonali and Twinkle Khanna look beautiful in jazzy costumes (or the lack of it).

It may not be even comparable to junk Malayalam comedy movies of Dileep or Harisree Ashokan. But still, compared to average Hindi "comedy" standard it was good.
