Currently I am reading one more Feluda book "Royal Bengal Mystery". This contains 6 novels: "Killer in Kailash", "Royal Bengal Mystery", "Curse of the Goddess", "Mystery of the Walking Dead", "The Locked Chest" and "Kailash Babu's Jewel". In fact this is the most interesting Feluda book I have ever read. Actually this completes all the Feluda books. Now I have collected and read all the 7 of them, which contain 36 stories.
After reading the first three books "Mystery of the Pink Pearl", "House of Death", and "Feluda's last case" I felt little bored about the whole thing, as many stories dealt with missing old manuscripts, jewels, old art forms and collectors items and looked very similar. But "Royal Bengal Mystery", "Adventures of Feluda" and "Jai Baba Felunath" are really great books and I enjoyed stories in them more than many of the Sherlock Holmes stories. I wish I could travel to Jaisalmir, Kathmandu, Sikkim and all the places with Feluda, Tapesh and Lalmohan Babu. It is actually Lalmohan Babu's comments and opinions and the Indian background that makes it more enjoyable. I feel sorry that Ray hasn't written any more Feluda stories.
